Tuesday, October 29, 2024
10:00 AM – 10:50 AM EDT
Location: Bluegrass A
Presentation Description: Air travel is a key component to any study abroad experience, but it seems to be slipping further out of passengers’ control. Airlines are increasingly over selling flights, cutting routing, and hiking fares which adds time and financial strain for students. In this session we will discuss the current environment of air travel and how it has changed post-pandemic. We’ll share the pros and cons of group travel, guidance for group leaders experiencing delays and cancellations, and ways to assist students booking individual flights.
